Superwash wool is a specially treated type of wool that is designed to be machine washable. The process involves removing the scales from the surface of the wool fibres, which prevents them from felting together during washing. This results in a fibre that retains the natural softness and warmth of wool while offering increased convenience and durability.
I dye the fibre until the dye has exhausted and rinse until the water is clear but occasionally some colour run may be evident on first wash especially with the deeper colours. It's usually the turquoise!
